Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a great location overlooking the harbor with super comfortable beds, but we had a minor inconvenience with cash-only bus fare. The rooms are a bit dark and small but overall good, and the service was excellent. The dining experience offered a variety of hot and cold items, and the facilities were satisfactory.
My stay at Clarion Admiral was a mixed experience. The rooms, although with a good bathroom, lacked proper ventilation, making it hard to sleep and unload things easily. On the bright side, the view of the lake and old town was delightful.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms, although not offering a nice view, were fairly small yet incredibly lovely and cozy. There wasn't much space to work in the room, but the compact size was actually quite charming. The bed was a bit tiny, making it a challenge to move around. Despite that, I found myself more drawn to enjoying the view outside than staying indoors.
The hotel is located directly across the harbor from the colorful buildings that represent Bergen, offering a fabulous view and a short walk from the airport bus stop. The rooms are small but nicely decorated with colors, mirrors, and glasses to minimize the size limitation. The service was particularly helpful, warm, and friendly, accommodating special requests. The dining experience, while with a spectacular view over the harbor, could improve its options and timing. The location is a major plus due to its proximity to the heart of the city center and the lovely old part of Bergen.
The Clarion Admiral is a gem with its cozy rooms, exceptional service, and unbeatable location near the port and station. The unique charm of the hotel shines through, though the worn-down building and limited operating hours of the lobby bar are minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were well designed, and the bathroom was great. The fantastic breakfast was a highlight, although the room could have benefited from a slightly smaller bathroom to allow more room for the bed.
The hotel's location was fabulous, right on Bergen harbour with easy access to the airport bus stop. The rooms were nicely furnished, providing a comfortable space for relaxing. The service was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The dining experience offered a great choice of dishes. However, the loud dance music on weekends could be disruptive.
I was thrilled with the hotel's perfect location within walking distance of Bryggen and the fish market. The rooms were clean and tidy, providing a beautiful harbor view and a very comfortable bed. The big breakfast spread with various choices added so much to my enjoyment of the hotel.
The hotel offers rooms with very well-appointed and cool features, though on the smaller side, they are lovely and cozy. The service, while staff members were friendly, had some room for improvement in communication and upkeep of the building. The location is fantastic, close to various attractions and a cozy restaurant. The dining experience had a great selection, though improvements could be made in certain areas. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay with a friendly staff in a great location.
